When the rest of the world is becoming more and more divided, it’s really wonderful to take part in these types of initiatives, where collaboration and knowledge-sharing across borders is in focus. 🤝🎯

Fellow energy business colleagues from Lithuania, Poland, Denmark, Finland and Sweden met in beautiful Kaunas to discuss innovation and smart solutions for:
– the green energy transition, digitalization and resilience
– sustainable and profitable optimization of cogeneration in times of volatile fuel and electricity prices
– consumer flexibility
– leak detection/prevention in an aging district heating network
🏭🌿☀️🔋

Pia Malmström Lawson from Energy Opticon AB and Charlotta Feith from NODA Intelligent Systems held a presentation about end-to-end optimization, collaboration between energy companies and building owners for increased flexibility and sustainability.

We also did an exciting site visit to the Kauno energija district heating Petrasiunai boiler plant, where history meets the future!

A big thanks to dr. Valdas Lukoševičius from the Lithuanian District Heating Association for hosting and arranging this event together with Bengt Malmberg from SweHeat and Cooling and Adam Cenian from Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery, Polish Academy of Sciences (IMP PAN). True district heating rockstars! 🌟💪🏼

More of this! 😊👏🏼
